THE WOMAN* S AUXILIARY PRAYER
Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, bless we
Pray Thee, our work for the extension of Thy King-
dom, and make us so thankful for the precious gift
to us of Thy beloved Son, that we may pray fervently,
labor diligently, and give liberally to make Him

known to all nations as their Savior and their King:
through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen*

CHRISTIAN SOCIAL RELATIONS

31

Our Prayer

Send us, God, as thy messengers, to hearts without a
home, to lives without love, to the crowds without a guide.,
Send us to the children whom none have blessed, to the
famished whom none have visited, to the fallen whom none
have lifted, to the bereaved whom none have comforted.
Kindle thy flame on the altars of our hearts that others
may be warmed thereby; cause thy light to shine in our souls,
that others may see the way; keep our sympathies and in-
sight ready, our will keen, our hands quick to help our
brothers in their need* For Christ's sake. Amen.

Our aim is to have a program which will help indivi-
duals to seek, to find, and to express their Christianity
through relationships with others-

We are asked to support special Diocesan projects as
sent out by the Secretary of the Committee* This program
will be announced later •

May our daily prayers be offered for those in sorrow
and in trouble, in sickness and in want, that we may grow
stronger by helping others. Pray for World Peace.

MISSIONARY CORRESPONDENT

Correspondence with our missionaries, particularly
from this stcLte, has a two-fold value. We learn about
their activities and progress, and they gain strength
in the knowledge that we as a group are praying that
God may guide them in their work.

UNITED THANK OFFERING

The United Thank Offering is a voluntary gift from
women of the Church given in thanksgiving for all God*s
gifts so freely bestowed on them. Every day we have ';"
something to be thankful for — for life and health, for
all that is beautiful in creation, for every day things,
and for the many manifestations of God's mercy and love.

This offering is given to the Church for the
support of women missionaries in their various fields
all over the world, and is presented twice a year,
in the spring and fall.

It is hoped that more and more women will use their
little blue boxes, and in so doing, help to spread His
Kingdom.

CHEER PARTNER

It is the responsibility of each cheer partner to remember
members of her chapter in time of sorrow or joy. In- addition,
they should report to Mrs. Ricks, the General Cheer Partner
Chairman .

We spread cheer by being thoughtful of others by means
of cards, phone messages, or by visitation.

i? Tis the human touch

in this world that counts
The touch of your hand and mine,
Which means far more to the

fainting heart
Than shelter and bread and wine."

"Cheer is a perfume which if you spread it on other — :
people, is bound to leave a few drops on you." Happiness
or cheer is a coin that we can keep only, when we give it away.

Practice happiness thinking each day.
